PREAMBLE We believe the cornerstones of the Free Music Movement must be: Freedom, Access, and Music. Version 1.0 of the FAM License codifies these values into a license that grants, rather than restricts artists' freedoms, increases access to fans, and puts the focus back onto making music. This license requires two steps: (1) the music must be copyrighted, and (2) the copyright owner must license the materials under this license by designating the materials in the accompanying MANIFEST. These two steps will secure the right of the creators of the music and all others to copy, and redistribute all materials licensed under the terms of the FAM license either commercially or non-commercially. There is no warranty associated with this license. Materials distributed under the terms of this license are distributed WITHOUT WARRANTY.
